Trail Assessment & Inventory

Many times trail organizations have existing trails or abandoned rail lines that are in need of an upgrade and are not sure how to proceed. Trail inventories and assessments are a great tool to help you not only determine your needs for upgrading your trail but also provide critical information for long-term management and maintenance.  In order to accomplish this, a detailed look at the trail is taken documenting the general features of the trail along with other attributes that may be of interest. A detailed inspection will provide GPS location and photographs of trail amenities such as signs, gates, culverts and access points along the trail. This information then can be used to develop maintenance schedules or used to develop budgets and priorities for trail upgrading
